FINRPO
From 1st January 2010 GBP International has been appointed the official Finpro Trade Center Malaysia. Finpro has the mission to support the Finnish industry, mainly SME's, in their internationalisation efforts. The Finpro Trade Center Malaysia also provides Finland related information to Malaysian companies. GBP International as Finpro Partner will offer the full range of consultancy services to Finnish companies based on assignments from Finpro's headquarters in Helsinki.
Finpro is continuously expanding its services into the new market areas by boosting its partner activities and by setting up short-term project offices in locations that offer future business opportunities for Finnish companies. In 2010, Finpro and its co-operation partners are serving Finnish companies in over 60 offices and 44 countries.
Finpro has offices in 10 countries in the Asia Pacific region: China (Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Shanghai), Japan (Tokyo), South Korea (Seoul), Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), Philippines (Manila), Singapore, Taiwan (Taipei), Thailand (Bangkok) and Vietnam (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City). The Australian representative also serves Finnish companies in New Zealand and Indonesia.

The Malaysia-Europe Forum (MEF) aims to promote Malaysia in Europe and vice versa through an exchange of views, furthering of mutual interests and enhancement of links between and among European and Malaysian business leaders, professionals, scientists, academics and humanitarians at a non-governmental level.
GBP International fully supports the Malaysia-Europe Forum as a serious non-profit platform for open Dialogue, Debate and Discussion towards better solutions and aims to contribute to the success of the MEF by various means:
GBP's CEO Volker U. Friedrich has been appointed as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Forum. He will also hold the introdutory speech at the MEF Spring Dialogue 2010. GBP will also use it's knowledge about and network in Europe and Malaysia to promote this event and support the MEF with the preparations and organization of this event.
