GBP International is an independent consulting and management organization. We conduct strategic and operational consulting work for companies with business interests in Asia and Europe.

Previously known as German Business Pool we were founded 1996 and since then we had the pleasure to work together with more than 100 companies in various areas. Depending on the individual demands and requirements we offer tailor-made solutions in each and every field of the business. Our fees are calculated on a case-to-case basis depending on the amount of work required.

With our team of experienced and professional employees and partners (from Asia and Europe) we are able to offer to you a "Best of both worlds" scenario. The traditions embedded in the slogan "Made in Germany" are combined with our Asian values and our Know-how und Know-who of the target markets.

Using Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as our regional platform we have a wide network of partners and contacts which enables us to guide you through the complexities of Asia. Especially in China, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam we are well represented. Our European business is coordinated from our office in Berlin.

Founder and principal of GBP International is Volker U. Friedrich, who has more than two decades of experience in international industry and trade. He worked for German industrial giant Kloeckner in the industrial contracting business (today RWE and MAN Group respectively) and as Senior Consultant with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. Since 1992 Volker U. Friedrich is involved in business in Asia.
